Nanning Customs announced on the evening of the 18th that in the first half of this year (H1), Guangxi's imports and exports with ASEAN countries reached 206.08 billion yuan (RMB, the same hereinafter), up 11.9% YoY (the same hereinafter), accounting for 53.2% of Guangxi's total foreign trade value in the same period (the same hereinafter). Among them, Guangxi's imports and exports with Vietnam amounted to 149.88 billion yuan, up 4.3%. Guangxi maintained its position as the largest port for imports and exports with Vietnam, with the total trade volume with Vietnam accounting for 38.2% of China's total trade volume with Vietnam. Data provided by Nanning Customs showed that in the first half of this year, Guangxi's total foreign trade imports and exports reached 387.15 billion yuan, up 13%, 10.1 percentage points higher than the growth rate of China's foreign trade. In terms of exports, in the first half of this year, Guangxi mainly exported mechanical and electrical products, labor-intensive products, with lithium batteries showing remarkable performance, up 184.9%. In terms of imports, the import value of bulk commodities increased, with an import value of 90.23 billion yuan, accounting for 59.2%.
